About CowParade Denver. A herd of more than 100 cows is now on display throughout Denver’s streets, parks, and public places for three months from July 21 – October 18, 2006. CowParade Denver is made possible through the title sponsorship of United Airlines and is presented by Stapleton.
The cows are divided into three herds. Click on the Grazing Guide tile on the right side of this page for more information.
The Downtown Herd stretches the length of the 16th Street Mall including "watering holes" in Larimer Square, Writer Square, the Tabor Center and the Denver Pavilions.
The Cherry Creek Herd is roaming the tree-lined streets of Cherry Creek North as well as within the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
The Stapleton Herd is located at the East 29th Avenue Town Center and Founders Green.
Be sure to visit Larimer Square to view a "squadron" of 16 one-third sized "mini-moos" painted by DPS Middle School students through the Larimer Arts Project LEAD program.
CowParade Denver 2006 is being organized and managed by CowParade Holdings LLC and produced locally by Creative Strategies Group (CSG). CSG is the region’s leading sponsorship and event marketing agency specializing in festival and special events. Their clients include the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, the Starz Denver Film Festival and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
