The nature of my work is that of emotion. I create with an idea of a feeling I wish to relate. It is this interaction between the viewer and the work that defines its function and meaning. The work becomes an extension of the person who possesses it, and gives to the art its reason to exist. Everything in this world relates to and is intertwined with everything else. To see the images of the stars in a reflection on the water is to understand the universe. The meanings we attach to our perceptions are how we define our lives, and art is only a reflection of what we see.
