Denver CowParade Mooves Herd to Pasture at Stapleton
The Last Round-Up becomes an outdoor celebration
Stapleton, a new urban, mixed-use community, teams up with CowParade Denver for the Last Round Up events. Denver CowParade artists, Forest City Stapleton executives and various vendors will be onsite to help with the celebration.
WHAT: More than 80 bovine beauties from the Denver CowParade will be featured in the Last Round Up at Stapletonâs Founderâs Green to celebrate the final days before leaving for auction on Oct. 29. This is your chance to see the Bessies you may have missed before itâs too late!
Special Events October 21st:
7-9 am Nick Carter 9News Weather Report: Stapleton spokesperson (Hank Baker); United Spokesperson; students from Denver School of the Arts painting white fiberglass cow; and Thomas Bros Coffee & Chai giving away free donuts, coffee and chai tea
9 am -1 pm KYGO Live Radio Remote; Best of the Bovine voting contest, face painters, food vendors, cow painting continues with DSA students, and CowParade store
10 am -NOON live performance from The Railbenders
Noon â 4pm hoof signing and CowParade store
Special Events, October 28th:
9 am - 3 pm Sweet William Market (open-air, antique market on west end of Founders' Green)
10 am -2 pm Featured Food Vendors: Steve's Snappin' Dogs, Thomas Bros Coffee & Chai and Kyle's Saloon
10 am -2 pm Live performance from David Potter (banjo player)
10 am -2 pm Best of the Bovine voting contest, hay rides, face painters, hoof signing and CowParade store,
NOON - 2 pm Urban Farms: petting zoo (w/live steer) and pony rides
1-2 pm Kids parade and costume contest ("dress as your favorite cow")
